Background
kidswr., a children’s clothing rental startup, entered the market with a mission to offer parents a sustainable, high-quality alternative to fast fashion. By introducing a subscription-based model, the company aimed to blend convenience and style for families.
I spearheaded all aspects of marketing, branding, and software development, including creating an aesthetic and trustworthy brand identity, website redesign, and developing robust eCommerce rental software. My work ensured a seamless customer experience while positioning kidswr. as an innovative and scalable solution for investor funding and long-term growth.
The Challenge
Launching kidswr. required presenting a compelling MVP while refining both the visual brand identity and backend software to attract investors. Unlike competing in a crowded market, the primary challenge was demonstrating the viability of the subscription-based children’s clothing rental model in a way that appealed to both fashion-forward parents and stakeholders.

My Approach
To position kidswr. as a market leader in the children’s fashion rental industry, I implemented a multi-pronged strategy that blended research, branding, technology innovation, and organic marketing. The goal was not just to launch an MVP but to validate the business model, gain consumer traction, and secure investor interest, all while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
1. Research-Driven Strategy & Market Validation
Before execution, I conducted deep-dive research into both the subscription economy and the sustainable fashion movement to ensure kidswr. had a clear value proposition and a scalable business model. This included:
